Resetting a Password on an Android Device

I am unable to reset my password on my Android device. What can I do?

If you are unable to reset your password on your Android device, due to the issue of the Betano application opening instead of being guided to the reset page, you can follow these steps to resolve the issue:

1: Uninstall and Reinstall the Betano Application

  • Uninstall the Betano application from your Android device.
  • Open the email received from Betano containing the password reset link.
  • Tap on the reset link (blue link) in the email. This should now open in your device's web browser, not the Betano app.
  • Follow the necessary steps indicated on the screen to reset your password.
  • Once your password has been successfully changed, you can reinstall the Betano application from the app store.
  • Log in to your account with the newly created password.

2: Adjust Application Settings

  • Access the "Settings" on your Android device.
  • Find and tap on the "Applications" section.
  • Look for the "Betano" app in the list of installed applications and tap on it.
  • Press "Application settings" or similar (the wording may vary depending on your Android version).
  • Then, tap on "Default setting" or "Set as default."
  • Choose "Go to supported URLs" and select either "Open in a different app" or "Always ask."
  • Save the changes to the application settings.

Once you've completed these steps, go back to the email received from Betano for resetting your password, and tap on the blue link again. This time, it should open in your device's web browser, allowing you to continue with the password reset process.

By following one of these options, you should be able to successfully reset your password on your Android device and regain access to your Betano account.
