The Trusted Devices Feature enhances user experience by allowing you to mark a device as trusted after a successful 2FA login.
How it works
- The Trusted Devices Feature can be activated only in case you have enabled the Two-Factor Authentication Feature (2FA).
- If you don’t have a trusted device or use a device that is not trusted, you will be redirected to the 2FA login flow, and a checkbox should appear for you to enable the trusted device feature.
- Once a device is marked as trusted, you will not be required to enter a 2FA code on subsequent logins from that device, and you will be logged in automatically, until the trust period expires.
- The trust period will be configurable (e.g., 30, 60, 90 days).
- After the period expires, you will be prompted to perform 2FA again to re-establish trust for the device.
